The GCAP Board of Directors sets the strategic direction, purpose, and vision for the organization.
FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT
The board is in charge of approving the yearly budget and any adjustments in order to maintain effective financial management. In addition, the Board is responsible for ensuring that the Organization has sufficient resources to function and achieve its objectives. As a result, the Board plays a crucial role in fundraising.
PRIDE DAY OVERSIGHT & PLANNING
The board is responsible for planning, executing on and delivering the necessary components for a successful and effective Pride Day.
VISIBILITY
The Board represents GCAP in our community both collectively and individually. The Board of Directors must be able to properly express the Organization’s mission, vision, accomplishments, and aspirations to the public and gain community support.
In addition, the Board assures organizational legal compliance, ethical integrity, and responsibility. The Board is ultimately accountable for ensuring that legal requirements and organizational principles are followed.

Originally from NJ, she feels like the ability to live near the beach but also enjoy the beautiful southern hospitality is why she calls the Gulf Coast her home.
