A Message from our GCAP President
Dear Community Partner,
On behalf of Gulf Coast Pride, I am pleased to share information about our organization and our upcoming Pride Celebration, and to invite you to consider becoming a valued sponsor of this important community event.
Established in 2017, Gulf Coast Pride is a 501(c)(3) approved non-profit organization located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Our mission is to produce a yearly Pride event that inspires, celebrates, educates, and commemorates the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s unique and diverse LGBTQIA+ community. What began as a single-day celebration has grown each year into a larger, more impactful event that brings together individuals, families, businesses, and community partners from across the region.
Gulf Coast Pride is comprised of a dedicated board of directors who work year-round on a volunteer basis to organize and oversee our activities. In addition, we are supported by a network of committed community volunteers who are dedicated to making the Mississippi Gulf Coast a more inclusive place to live, work, and play. Together, we strive to create spaces where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and affirmed.
This year, we are excited to announce that our Pride Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Barksdale Pavilion in Gulfport, Mississippi. Our 2026 theme, “PRIDE UNITES the WORLD,” reflects our belief that Pride transcends borders, builds bridges, and brings people together through shared values of love, acceptance, and belonging. This new venue will allow us to accommodate our growing attendance, enhance our programming, and provide an even better experience for our guests, vendors, performers, and sponsors.
In addition to serving the LGBTQIA+ community, Gulf Coast Pride is deeply committed to giving back to the broader Mississippi Gulf Coast. Over the years, we have provided assistance and support to numerous organizations, including:

• Tunnels to Towers Foundation
• Free Neighborhood Food Bank
• South Mississippi AIDS Task Force (SMATF) Bridge for Life Walk

These partnerships reflect our belief that Pride is not only about celebration, but also about service, solidarity, and strengthening our community as a whole.
