Greetings, Gulf Coast Pride supporters and allies!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news from the Gulf Coast Association of Pride (GCAP). Our 6th annual Gulf Coast Pride celebration, held on June 1st, received special recognition on WLOX, and we couldn't be more proud!
The vibrant spirit of Pride was on full display as WLOX featured highlights from this year's festivities, capturing the essence of unity, love, and inclusion that defines our community. From the colorful parade to the electrifying performances, every moment was a testament to the resilience and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community along the Gulf Coast.
Our President, Todd Sharp, along with the incredibly talented entertainers Austrailyah Regina Davenport and Betty Essem, took center stage during the news broadcast, representing GCAP and the incredible individuals who make our Pride celebrations possible.
This year's Pride Day was a resounding success, and we owe it all to the unwavering support of our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who played a part in bringing our vision to life. Your dedication and passion fuel our mission of promoting acceptance, equality, and empowerment for all.
As we reflect on this year's celebration, let us continue to stand together in solidarity, advocating for a future where love knows no bounds and every individual is celebrated for who they are. Let's carry the spirit of Pride with us each day, making our voices heard and our presence felt in the ongoing fight for equality.
To our GCAP family, thank you for your tireless commitment and boundless enthusiasm. Together, we are creating a brighter, more inclusive world for generations to come.
